Racing Results
Racing takes place on both Saturday and Sunday all year round and most evenings during the week in the summer months.
There are events for each class, together with handicap races and novice races so that everyone can perfect their competitive skills and tactics.
You will also find write-ups here for major events, detailing the excitement of each race - with no detail spared on each strategic, tactical or just plain accidental incident for the avid sailing enthusiast!
Scoring Rules
- A race shall not count towards the series if there are less than three competitors starting.
- The number of races to count is half the number of races in each series (plus a half if there is an odd number of races in the series).
- The 'did not start penalty' is half the number of competitors in the series or five more than the number competing in the race, whichever is greater.
- Retirements and disqualifications are awarded points one more than the number of starters in the race.
