Beginners Courses

The core training that the club offers is the RYA Level Start Sailing and Basic Skills courses (Levels 1 & 2). This course takes students from being a total beginner to being able to rig, launch and sail a boat in light-moderate winds.

Buoyancy Aids are provided. Candidates should be confident in water.

Level 2+

We are happy to run the advanced modules of the RYA sailing scheme on demand. We also plan to give more support for club members to help them progress from their Level 2 certificate to regularly sailing at Bartley.

Evening Talks

We have recently arranged two informative evening talks, and will be repeating this monthly next winter.
